THIS WEEK'S INTERVIEW WITH MR FINTAN FANNING

On this weekend that celebrates the Jubilee for deacons, we catch up with Mr Fintan Fanning. Fintan lives in Ashford, Co Wicklow but his mother hailed from the parish of Kilanerin in north Wexford. Fintan is a retired Garda but for the last four years has been preparing and studying to become a deacon. He is due to be ordained a deacon later this year. In this interview, he tells his story that lead him to this point and shares his hopes for a new chapter of his life that is about to begin.
